This morning I woke up to an inch of snow outside my house in Broomfield, CO. But, to everyone’s surprise, it screwed the morning commute harder than it should have. This is typical, though. The first few snow and travelers forget how to drive. Plus, this morning was nearly 10 degrees warmer than yesterday (cloud cover retains the heat).
Snow in the mountains
But, who cares about the sloppy commute?
Wednesday morning, Breckenridge reported 9 inches of new snow,
Beaver Creek 6, Snowmass 5, Vail 4, Winter Park 3.5, Keystone 3, Aspen 3, Copper Mountain 3, Loveland 2, Arapahoe Basin 2, Crested Butte 1 and half an inch at Eldora.Colorado Ski Country said Telluride would open Wednesday with Steamboat, Sunlight and Echo Mountain planning to start running lifts Friday.
