Denver’s closest and most affordable ski resort, Echo Mountain, is opening the 2010 season this morning at 9 AM. Located only 45 minutes from downtown Denver, Echo has 85 acres of trails and terrain, three lifts, and is one of the few Colorado resorts to offer night skiing. Over the summer, Echo added a top-to-bottom beginner run and increased access to glade skiing. If you haven’t stopped by yet, it may be worth checking out as it’s only $49 for a full day adult ticket. I’ve not been (yet) but would like to check it out some time this season.
