  3. Colorado Ski Country 5th and 6th grade Passports →

    Just like Vail Resorts School of Shred, Colorado Ski Country also offers “Passports” for free and discounted skiing at member resorts for local 5th and 6th graders. Both passports offer at least three days of skiing or snowboarding at each of their 21 member resorts. For 5th graders the pass is free and for 6th graders, its a very reasonable $99.

    Parents: you may not be aware that Vail Resorts offers a School of Shred Program: “The 11/12 School of Shred program provides 4 FREE days of skiing or riding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin for all Colorado fifth and sixth grade students who register by November 6, 2011.”

    The 57th annual SNIAGRAB (bargains spelled backwards) returns this weekend (September 3, 2011). Participating locations in Colorado are: Boulder, Bowles, Colorado Springs, Denver Sportscastle, Fort Collins, Parker, and Park Meadows. Check the website to sign up as a VIP and get early access. The deals are pretty huge and only last a couple weeks (through the 18th). Bonus: Spend over $250 and you can get free lift tickets to Copper, Winter Park, Loveland, or A-Basin.
