Here’s part 2 of the Snow Science series from Joel Gratz and OnTheSnow. This is something I’ve always been interested in: how much does it cost a resort to make snow? You have to wonder about the cost/benefit (economics) for someone like Arapahoe Basin and Loveland to make snow so early in the season. Or Beaver Creek to keep blowing snow throughout the season to keep visitors happy.
