Copper Mountain is a Colorado ski resort located in Summit County, Colorado, 75 miles west of Denver in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With 2,450 acres of ski and snowboard terrain Copper is perfect for your Colorado winter ski vacation or summer vacation getaway. Copper offers shopping, dining, convenient lodging and family activities, including snow tubing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter, and hiking, biking and rafting in the summer. Copper Mountain operates under permit from the U.S. Forest Service in the White River National Forest.

    If you’re looking for one of the best half-pipes in the world, get ready because Copper is opening the superpipe this weekend. It’s built by the same group that builds the X Games and various other projects across the world. If you’re curious, half-pipes cost at least $100,000 to build.
