Thanks to I-70 closing on Sunday and Monday “Loveland Ski Area, a favorite of Front Range skiers, shuttered all of its slopes for the first time in four years, while other resorts struggled with accommodating stranded tourists.” Read more at the Rocky Mountain News.
That’s right, both slopes have opened up and are ready for skiing. If you’ve got the Colorado Five Mountain pass then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t head up to A-Basin and get a few runs in. (link)
On Friday, October 13th, Arapahoe Basin opened at 9:00am to officially begin the season for Colorado.
