Perhaps one of the more understated resorts and passes on the western slope, Monarch Mountain has just announced more pass partners:
Monarch Mountain has added three more areas to its list of pass partners; Telluride and Ski Cooper in Colorado… All three are now offering free skiing/riding to Monarch Mountain season pass holders.
I didn’t realize it, but Monarch Mountain passes are accepted at nine Colorado areas: Loveland, Durango, Powderhorn, Sunlight, Sol Vista, Silverton, Ski Cooper, Telluride and Monarch itself (not to mention six areas in New Mexico and a handful in Utah).
Adult passes are only $339. Learn more at skimonarch.com.

Uh, wow – if it also included Wolf Creek, I’d be all over this. Definitely a great buy for people planning nomadic ski seasons.
No kidding. Though the areas aren’t quite as convenient as the big resorts. Maybe a good pass for when I retire. 😉
No, no, that’s when you use your many years’ accumulation of wealth and get the Gold Pass.
