It’s Easter weekend and the season has slowed to a crawl. We haven’t seen any substantial snow in weeks and weeks. But, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do. Here’s this weekend’s events worth checking out.
Taste of Vail (April 5 – 7)
In its 22nd year, the Taste of Vail is the nation’s premier spring food and wine festival, held at several venues throughout North America’s favorite ski resort.
Silverton’s BrewSki (Sunday)
The theme for 2012 is a Preppy Party. Guests are encouraged to bring their croquet sets, argyle and cheese and crackers, as they enjoy spring skiing while sipping local microbrews.
Keystone Slush Cup (Sunday)
Compete in the Keystone Slush Cup for your chance to win one of three Summit Passes! Award categories include: Best Costume, Best Crash, and Best Overall.
Colorado’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt at Copper (Sunday)
For those EGGstreme youngsters 7-11 years old, check out the Center Village Egg Hunt with 50,000 eggs at 10am. Don’t worry big kids, there will be few special “Copper Eggs” for you to find hidden on the mountain.
Beach’N Egg Hunt at Arapahoe Basin (Sunday)
The Easter Bunny visits A-Basin for an Easter Egg Hunt on snow!! The event is open to both skiing and non-skiing children. The Easter Bunny will arrive at noon – just outside the Snowsports Center.
