5th and 6th Graders: check out the School of Shred and Passport programs

For years now, families have helped introduce their 5th and 6th graders to skiing and snowboarding by applying to Vail’s School of Shred program or Colorado Ski Country USA’s Passport Program.

Both offer the same deal to local students: free passes and lessons for kids. Here are some more details:

  • School of Shred offers one complimentary first-timer ski lesson and rental equipment for pass holders (Arapahoe Basin excluded)
  • The Passport offers 5th graders the opportunity to learn how to ski or snowboard throughout the month of January
  • School of Shred offers 4 free days of skiing at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin to those who apply
  • The Passport offers 5th graders three free days of skiing or snowboarding at each of their 20 member resorts and 6th graders four days for just $99

To learn more and sign up for either (or both!) of these programs, please visit: Colorado Ski Country’s Passport and the School of Shred website.
