Even though Peak 6 is not new to Breck, it was new to us. We haven’t had a chance to visit and check it out ourselves until now. And we had a great time.
We started a late, sunny, blue-bird morning heading up the gondola from Main Street and jumped off at Peak 7.
From Peak 7 we came down to the first connecting lift: Zendo Chair.
After a quick ride from the Zendo chair, and then a quick slide down to Kensho Superchair, we ended up on the lift as we were some of the only people in line. On a Saturday!
From the top of Kensho we could go left down Bliss or right down Reverie. Bliss was much wider open and had plenty to do. Reverie was a bit narrower and had more moguls built up. Both were great, soft, and made for a great place to stay. The conditions were great for being just a few days open this season.
I look forward to the bowls and Elysian Fields opening up for even more fun terrain.
