Aside Snow Wolf Creek

Wolf Creek: 4 feet in 3 days

It’s true! Our reader, Gabe, said this weekend was it and he was right. Sure, Wolf Creek may not have snow-making capabilities but it’s weekends like this last one that makes it unnecessary. Summit Base Depth : 47 inches Last 24 Hours : 7 inches Last 48 Hours : 19 inches Last 72 Hours : […]

Knowing Where the Snow Is

Maybe it’s just me, but sometimes I like to know what other parts of the country or world are getting snow so that I can be appropriately jealous (or happily smug about Colorado totals). Of course I happen to be in sunny California when the flakes fall but it sounds like some snow has hit the mountains along with the front range early Wednesday. CBS4 reports only about an inch in the mountains making for a slight inconvenience rather than a powdery weekend. Read the local story here.
