It’s pretty amazing to see the photos coming from Copper at their already-open 22 foot half pipe.
Most of the members of the U.S. Freeskiing and Snowboarding Half Pipe teams along with top athletes from around the world are here taking their turns dropping in. These guys and girls are not wasting any time shaking the rust off from a long summer, boosting high above the 22′ pipe walls, spinning, grabbing and tweaking in order to master their tricks. Hopefully all this practice will pay off at the upcoming Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain.

True, but I’m hopeful that Dakota, Palmer, Hidden, Golden Bike Park, or some of the other exspeod spots will open up soon. Plus, there’s always Boulder Indoor Cycling for a little fun ala Ray’s Indoor. I’ll let everyone know if we plan a trip up there.Looking back, I am going over my stats. I keep some rough stats on rides etc. Because of the extended season, here are some of the highlights from my 2010 stats:106 Total MTB Rides815 Off Road MTB Miles29 Dakota Ridge/MW16 Apex14 White Ranch13 Golden Bike Park9 Alderfer3 Makawao (HAWAII)3 Matthew Winters (No DR)3 Maxwell Falls3 Lair O’ The Bear3 Chimney2 Winter Park Trestle Park2 Green Mtn2 Boulder Indoor Cycling (Indoor)1 Deer Creek1 Centenial Cone1 Tin Cup Ridge1 Falcon0 North Table0 South Table0 Bear Creek0 Waterton0 Elk Meadow
