Skied at Winter Park on February 1, 2018

Another snowy weekday in Winter Park!

Both Rachel and I decided to pause work and take some afternoon laps. We packed up the kiddo and headed to Winter Park after lunch on Thursday and had a fluffy afternoon all to ourselves.

It started snowing that morning so by waiting until later in the day we actually got to ride on the the majority of the snow from the storm. With a few inches under foot and a sparse weekday turn out we found plenty of soft runs.

The weather was perfect and the light was just a little flat. But overall it’s hard to beat a quick afternoon workout on the mountain.

On Thursday I finished 5 runs and almost 6,000 vertical feet at Winter Park.
