There are a lot of great videos being posted by the various Colorado resorts. This one from Vail (from last year) shows what it takes to get the Back Bowls open from the ski patrol perspective. It’s not as simple as waiting for it to snow, and dropping the gates and just going and skiing […]

My name is Devin Reams and I founded this site to provide a useful news and review resource for Colorado skiers and snowboarders (and mountain enthusiasts).
I've been skiing since I was a little kid (we moved out here when I was five years old) and I plan to ski for years beyond that. Although cosnow is not my full-time job it is my full-time winter hobby. I've been an "Epic Local" passholder since 2006 (when it was called a "Colorado Pass" or "Five Mountain Pass"). My favorite resorts are Beaver Creek and Breckenridge.
Are you (or your company) going to SIA in Denver this year? Shoot us an email if you want to meet up or have something interesting to share: https://cosnow.com/contact/

Beaver Creek (2013-01-01)
Our first ski day of 2013 was on New Year’s Day at Beaver Creek which means we earned the “Resolved” EpicMix pin — whoop! There hadn’t been any new snow in a few days and it was a holiday weekend so most everything was skied off or still bare underneath. Most mogul runs had grass […]
It’s great to see all the new snow these past two weeks. This weekend will make for some great turns out there…
