They all start with a week of volunteers stomping snow into large blocks that are frozen and used as the ice blocks to be shaped the following week. If the Winter X Games aren’t reason enough to visit Aspen next week, I’d strongly recommend checking out the various events and concerts. Calvin Harris will be performing on Saturday, January 26th and Major Lazer on Sunday, January 27th (both at 4:15 PM at Buttermilk Mountain’s X Fest Stage).
