If you’re a Vail Resorts season pass holder (Summit Pass, Colorado Pass, Epic Pass), keep in mind you have 6 “Ski With A Friend” passes to use this season. This entitles you to discounted lift tickets at the window. We recently visited Beaver Creek where a $97 adult ticket became $65 with the discount. For […]

My name is Devin Reams and I founded this site to provide a useful news and review resource for Colorado skiers and snowboarders (and mountain enthusiasts).
I've been skiing since I was a little kid (we moved out here when I was five years old) and I plan to ski for years beyond that. Although cosnow is not my full-time job it is my full-time winter hobby. I've been an "Epic Local" passholder since 2006 (when it was called a "Colorado Pass" or "Five Mountain Pass"). My favorite resorts are Beaver Creek and Breckenridge.
If you haven’t heard yet, the largest trade show in the snow sports industry is coming to Colorado. The SIA Snow Show will be at the Denver Convention Center Thursday, January 28th through Sunday, January 31st, 2010. Not only will the biggest names in the industry be exhibiting, but some of your favorite local bloggers […]
Another great Colorado web resource, this one by the I-70 Mountain Corridor Coalition: GoI70.com. I mentioned this site earlier in the year but it’s now live and ready for people to play with. It has everything from realtime traffic, weather, road conditions, ski resort snow reports, places to stay, things to do, and so on. […]
Unfortunately, there are only a handful of useful mobile websites for colorado skiers and snowboarders. Thankfully, Colorado’s resort communications and marketing organization, Colorado Ski Country USA has launched a mobile version of it’s own site. Visit m.coloradoski.com for resort info, snow reports, road conditions, and twitter updates. It’s arguably one of the best one-stop mobile […]
If you’re curious, yes, you can upgrade your Vail Resorts passes (Summit to Colorado or Epic, Colorado to Epic). I confirmed that you can upgrade even after the pass purchase deadline. I had opted for the lowest pass this season (Summit Pass: Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge) but had a change in plans (days at Beaver […]
The Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo is coming back to Denver from Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15. Get your tickets soon as the expo is always a great place to get deals, find giveaways and win prizes. Colorado Ski Country has already started posting great prizes on their #Expo Twitter hunt. Tickets: Adults […]
Keystone (2009-11-07)
Keystone had opened just this Thursday (check the excellent write-up of opening day over at Snowboarder Guide) and so we decided to check out opening weekend. It sounds like it was busy on Thursday and it surely was twice as busy today (Saturday). The drive up is really nice this time of the year and […]
Shay over at Shayborder has compiled a fairly hefty list of the 2009-2010 demo days around Colorado resorts, check it out. The listing includes most resorts like Copper, Echo Mountain, Loveland, Snowmass, Winter Park, Breckenridge and Keystone. Of course, we’ve added the events to the cosnow events calendar. To stay on top of this season’s […]
