This one was one of the most picturesque and best powder days I’ve ever seen on a weekend Sunday morning we woke up to a few inches of fresh powder and headed over to Winter Park as quickly as we could. We jumped onto the Zephyr lift as soon as it started and rode up […]

My name is Devin Reams and I founded this site to provide a useful news and review resource for Colorado skiers and snowboarders (and mountain enthusiasts).
I've been skiing since I was a little kid (we moved out here when I was five years old) and I plan to ski for years beyond that. Although cosnow is not my full-time job it is my full-time winter hobby. I've been an "Epic Local" passholder since 2006 (when it was called a "Colorado Pass" or "Five Mountain Pass"). My favorite resorts are Beaver Creek and Breckenridge.
We had another great weekend of warm skiing, moderate crowds, and soft snow up at Winter Park Weekend mornings at the Winter Park base sometimes start with a sampling of free Noosa yogurt below the Zephyr lift. This morning was no different and we tried one of our new favorite flavors: pumpkin! This Saturday we […]
Lucky for us all the new year continued to bring new snow everywhere, including Copper Mountain. We drove up Thursday morning from Denver and with a few overnight inches, the entire drive up I-70 was slow and steady. It turned out that both Berthoud Pass and Loveland pass were closed so everyone had the pleasure […]
Happy New Year! We had a beautiful blue-sky Sunday at Winter Park and it felt like we had it all to ourselves. We started the New Year’s morning leaving Denver around 6:45 AM and saw no snow on the road nor traffic in front of us. The drive was smooth and we were up and […]
My first day of the season was one of the best days I’ve had in the past few years. We left Denver just before 6:00 AM and the snow from the night before left all the side streets in a mess. The main roads were plowed but what used to be 4 lanes turned into […]
It had been a long time since we’d skied at A-Basin. So we woke up bright and early, left by 7 AM, and by 8 we were turning up the windy highway (US 6). We snagged an awesome nearly front-row (right next to the beach) parking spot and I headed to the to the 6th […]
It had been quite a while since we went skiing. Nearly two full months, actually. And I feel like we completely missed out on the winter season here in Colorado. We visited Breck on Saturday and it was a beautiful, warm, sunny, spring day? The first weekend in March? Not good. Maybe I was just […]
Our first day back on the hill this season was one of the biggest around: Vail! Rachel had never been to Vail and since we were in town for a conference, we made the most of a quiet Friday on the mountain. After a leisurely walk along the creek, we started at the Cascade Hotel’s […]
